Beginners • Rapsberry Pi 5 system with touchscreen powered by car help

For context, I'm trying to create a GPS system in my car, but I want to make sure that the system is sufficiently powered. I'm currently using an accelerometer, gps module + magnetic car antenna, DAC + amplifier + speaker, and a CUQI 3.5 Inch Touchscreen. Knowing that the Pi official requires a 27W usb-c power supply for 15V, 1.8A max supply, my first thought was to use a car cigarette lighter, but it seems it would supply too much power to the Pi, given that it is 12V and 10-20A for a total of over 100W of power.

Essentially, is there a way to power the Pi5 reliably in the car, either using the cigarette lighter and some sort of converter or battery system with the Raspberry Pi 5 to make it perform correctly with enough power supplied to peripherals in order to create this system? Anything I should purchase, hopefully under $30, but I understand why it would cost more. Let me know if any more info like the exact pinout or components are needed to help.

Thanks for any help, its much appreciated.
