Hi. I've repurposed a Pi4 B with 8Gb and added a camera to make a monitor.
I update to Trixie with a new install and set Wayland.
Before I dismantle and maybe even go back to Bookworm to try has anyone come across this. There is no 'inactivity' [ screen off ] I can find.
This happens with 2% CPU 50degC and 0 GPU. The machine is idle.
As mentioned if I move the mouse the screen comes alive else there is a message No HDMI input.
If I wait a further 15min the monitor closes down, if I restart the monitor and move the mouse all is fine again.
Maybe this happened after I config'd to Wayland, maybe I will switch back to X
