Troubleshooting • labplot crashes on trixie

Hello everyone,
using the official Add/Remove Software utility I installed LabPlot on a Raspberry 500+ running trixie
The installation worked smoothly, however LabPlot crashes immediately after starting it

Does anybody know how to fix this?
