So part of the reason I got a raspberry pi 5 recently is because I wanted to make games. Love2D and libresprite are pretty awesome for 2D games, but I also wanted to make 3D games.
I tried getting Blender but apparently the pi can't run it. Something about graphics card limitations.
I tried seeing what else there is, but it seems like every other 3D software I can find, that's available to run on a raspberry pi is just CAD software.
Is there any 3D modeling software capable of 3d modeling for games? I wouldn't need anything super crazy. I'm going for a 90s aesthetic and would be using models with very low polycount anyway, and no intense lighting/shading.
The only thing is It would need animation.
Is that possible, or am I just constrained to 2d game development?
