I was saving a file from firefox and in the dialog i choose to save it in my movie folder when it should be saved in my download folder.
After i pressed to save it in the movies folder in the dialog it lagged and i saw my mistake and with out thinking i did press for it to go up one folder in path.
This seems to have made it bug out and destroy many TB of data.
When i check the firefox download dialog it seems to have saved the file as the same name as my movie folder.
I can see the folders in my movie folder but no permissions, owner, size or anything else.
d????????? ? ? ? ? ? Name.of.the folder
It should be something like this
drwxr-xr-x 4 Datalost Datalost 4096 May 4 10:37 Name.of.the.folder

In the movies folder i see a .part file named -????????? ? ? ? ? ? movies.fiFT8L0v.part

It started writing in the folder since i see movies.fiFT8L0v.part in the folder and when i choose to go up one folder it might have changed the location it writes to.
I use the default DE in Raspberry Pi OS and it use pcmanfm filemanager on an raspberry pi 5.
Firefox 140.0.1 (aarch64).
It's an external hdd not an ssd if it makes any difference.
The movie folder did hold many TB of data.

Where do i report this bug?
How can i know if it's a firefox or pcmanfm bug?
Can i restore my lost data?
