I recently set up a new installation of PiOS Bookworm and VS Code on an external HDD connected to a Pi 400. When I execute picotool version in the VS Code terminal window, I get: picotool v2.1.0. When I execute the same from a PiOS terminal, I get: bash: picotool: command not found.
Is there a way to run the existing instance of picotool outside VS Code? And, if I were to install picotool directly (i.e. clone & build, outside of VS Code), would that interfere with what is already present in VS Code?
