Troubleshooting • blown chip near gpio

hello,

I have only just got my raspberry pi 5 and plugged it into my laptop via usb c twice.

I noticed there is a chip near the gpio pins that has blown.

I havent plugged anything into these pins and wondering what happened, the boards less than a week old. I havent flashed an os yet or anything.
