I'm trying to set up a pi-hole hotspot (so I can choose if I have ads, in case I have to), and no matter what I try it doesn't work correctly.
The pi-hole is already set up and working, I am already using it on my PC.
info: raspberry pi 5 8gb, connected via ethernet
I tried the method from https://www.raspberrypi.com/tutorials/h ... i-hotspot/ but that gives me a hotspot which I can't connect to (instantly disconnects me). The hotspot is still there, showing up
I can't do this thru the GUI as well as it literally does nothing. I even set up the image when i put the OS on the sd card to have a hotspot but it didn't work.
I also tried the old method from https://raspberrytips.com/access-point- ... berry-pi/ but that didn't even make an AP appear (possibly due to user error, dnsmasq uses the same port as the pi-hole dns, could have created issues).
