Hardware / setup
Raspberry Pi: Raspberry Pi 4 Model B
Display: [monitor model], input: HDMI
HDMI cable/adapter: [micro-HDMI to HDMI cable or adapter]
Power supply: [official 5.1V 3A or specs]
Issue
I’m connecting my Raspberry Pi 4 to a monitor via HDMI, but the screen stays black / no signal. On the Pi, the red LED is solid and the green LED is blinking.
Troubleshooting already tried (no change)
Tested both HDMI ports on the Pi (HDMI0 and HDMI1).
Tried different HDMI cables and also a different monitor/TV.
Tried different microSD cards.
Tested the boot with the microSD card inserted and also with no microSD card (LED behavior looked the same: red solid, green blinking).
Questions
What are the most likely causes of no HDMI display?
What is the next step for troubleshooting?
