Hi,
I'm trying to build a Poe powered Pi 5 with 2 x GigE and M.2 NVME housed in a case.
Looked at various methods:
1) Pi 5 + Waveshare Gige box + Poe M.2 Hat (B) + PCIe to 2ch Pcie
2) Pi 5 + Poe Hat (H) + Waveshare Pcie to M.2 HAT+ (inc Gige)
I prefer the RaspPi active cooling set - which does have a consideration in some stacking.
option 1 - cannot find a case wide enough and high enough to support it. Also a bit messy having to split the PCie
option 2 - cannot find a case tall enough with any suitable cutouts - would mean drilling Alu cases at very least.
I'm happy to consider CM5 if there is a route that way ...
The end usage will be as a firewall - software side is fine - it's just how do i get the hardware to fit cases and stack properly
Suggestions very gratefully received.
cheers
M.
