Troubleshooting • Odd problem with Wayland

I am IT support in my household and my wife kept complaining how her Pi5 stopped responding to the keyboard. Every time I looked at it it was fine. But last night she noticed that when she had the volume control pull down open that the processor usage jumped 25%. The CPU temperature also started up and was in the 70s. That's when it would stop responding to the keyboard. My deduction was that one of the cores was running full speed while that pull down was open. Anybody else notice this? I can't reproduce it on my other Pi5 running Trixie and X11.
