We have a straight-through network cable. We are wondering if we can use this cable (straight-through network cable) to connect between RPi CM4 IO board and Windows PC without a router in between.
In Windows PC we already have a USB to Ethernet adapter connected with driver installed which is working fine.
We want to setup a connection between RPi and Windows PC, so that we can setup remote desktop using VNC. If that is possible with straight-through network cable, than please share the guideline describing how to establish this connection.
