I have had this dongle working before on both RPI3 and 4, but on older OS. I am now trying to get it to run on Bookworm, and unable to get Minicom to see the ttyUSB2 . Anyone have any tips?
Clean Bookworm install, no other add ons, fully updated, wifi turn off, no ethernet connected
I have minicom at latest version (2.8-2) (sudo apt-get install minicom)
Changed serial Port to /dev/ttyUSB2 using sudo minicom -s
Reboot, Test modem with ls /dev/ttyUSB* and receive ls: can not access '/dev/ttyUSB* : No such file or directory
Tried: sudo minicom -D /dev/ttyUSB2
receive minicom: cannot open /dev/ttyUSB2: No such file or directory
Any suggestions? Did the OS upgrade change something for minicom? Been trying to solve this for 2 days![:-(]( "Sad")
