Since I work with FullHD streams on the Rpi Zero2W boards, I occasionally run into memory, cpu, cma or network issues.
To monitor settings and options of the rpicam-vid command, I wrote a little tool to monitor the system, network, memory and cma space and everything around it, which i cannot actually see with htop, btop or any other top tools. It also picks up my stream.service from journald, but works with any rpicam-vid commands available.
Maybe it helps you too to keep your streams alive or debug your rpicam-vid scripts:

Happy about feedback or forks![Smile :)]()
Best regards,
Axel
