Hello,
I have a pi500plus and there seems to be a rather confusing issue with it's keyboard.
The Pi 500+ (us keyboard option) with the latest recommended OS installed works fine with an external usb keyboard but when using the integrated keyboard the [ key and the ' key do not register correctly, outputting a string of 6 other keys. The other keys seem to be ok.
I have tried all the reset options that I could find on the Raspberry pi website and updated and upgraded, even re-installed the operating system from network. The issue has persisted through all of these attempts. I have looked but not managed to find anything on your portal that might suggest a solution.
The [ key registers as: <tab>qwert
And the ' key registers as: <capslock>asdfg
I have also tried:
sudo rpi-keyboard-fw-update
But to no avail.
As the string of 6 incorrect keycodes are on the same row as the key that was pressed, it seems like it might be a hardware fault linked to the keyboard matrix - but I'm guessing
The processor board does not seem to be affected, as it works fine with a separate usb keyboard.
I have attached a screenshot of the output.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Regards,
Chris
