I have known about Rasperry Pis for a long time, but I never had a project that needed one until I saw this video on Youtube https://youtu.be/d_3h5n9mPdI?si=FuNXf_u9pAmWeJic. I don't pretend to know anything about these devices. I can, however, follow instructions (although my wife may disagree).
This project was to build a little computer to filter out ads for your entire network. I had a few hiccups, but got the SD card imaged as instructed. After booting up the Pi with SD card I waited a while. At first the LED was flickering some. I waited until it was solid.
During the imaging I provided the authentication info for my wireless network and assumed once booted the Pi would automatically connect. So, I open my router web access table showing all the devices connected and did not see the Pi.
Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?
