First I thought I had the same problem as many others, when trying to use Raspberry Pi Imager: My cards got also unreadable,
But I found out my internal card reader now doesnt recognize any sd cards anymore. Even those who havent been near a Pi Imager![:-(]( "Sad")
Cant work on photos anymore, my phone can still read those cards, but on my PC Letters of external drives seem to have changed, also messing up backup on an external drive....
Did RPi Imager broke my card reader, or change the drivers?
