Networking and servers • Trixie Network Manager. Anything new for bridge or routing?

The jump to Bookworm broke my bridge and router automated configuration scripts. Some of the Network Manager stuff could not be reliably configured using nmcli. Are there any improvements in Trixie?

Bridging Ethernet to WiFi so a client can connect to the same LAN through either Ethernet or WiFi.
Routing Internet from a second WIFI adaptor to the bridge.
DNSmasq for DHCP to the LAN.

Network Manager has dnsmasq built in but the how-to pages for using dnsmasq in Network Manager failed in Bookworm. I have not found any new documentation for Trixie.

Bookworm switching to a separate dnsmasq often failed. In Trixie, from my few first tests, switching from the NM dnsmasq to a separate dnsmasq appears to work. You just install dnsmasq and that appears to take control. I cannot find a definitive nmcli command to tell NM which one should be used. Is there a change in Network Manager?

Outside of Network Manager, Trixie appears to be better overall. Smoother. Some things have better options. :D
