Hello all,
I am doing a ai robot project and hitting low voltage problems.
My set up rpi5 16gb
Ai 26 tops hat
1Tb ssd conected by a 52 pi usb ssd hat
7" lcd tft hdmi screen with speakers through usb port on pi - (changing this to a seperate usb phone charger does nothing to resolve issue).
5v fan from power board to cool ssd heatsink (1k resistors and pn2222 transistor gpio setup)
I will be adding another gpio setup for ai hat heatsink as it will be under high loads.

I bought a 12v power hat to supply the project from ebay. 5.1v @5A supply
I have reconfigured the eeprom to 5A and firmware to max current.

When transferring big programs to the ssd
Or running the ai programs-
im getting a red low voltage warning.
So supply is dipping to below 5v from spikes...

Im using a 49b ai program (which is actually working well with below 3 second responce time (due to the layer cutting i have done).

Id like to build a new power supply using gpio pin inputs using split loads on pins 2 and 4 for (+) and 6 and 9 for (-) using a voltage regulator and 1000uf cap between pins 2/4 and 6/9 (+/-) respectively.
I checked rs components and other suppliers for a fixed regulator 5.1v @6A or more but can not find any.
Would anyone know a 3 pin regulator package that will do the job or is there a better way/full circuit diagram for a supply with off the shelf parts?

The robot im building will be a power pig, powered by a 12v 100AH lifepo4 battery (there will be power spikes and frequency interference from motors etc)

I have looked through the forum however couldn't find this question in search- plenty of solutions for rpi4.

Thankyou for any help...
