Compute Module • Pi 5 I/O Board (Rev 2) - Onboard RTC Battery

Hi all,
I'm totally new to Raspberry Pi and just starting out with setting up my Pi 5 CM with the I/O board (R2). I note that there is an RTC battery (CR2032) terminal mounted onto the board...

Please can anyone advise advise if this can be a rechargeable CR2032 battery? If so, is the charging circuit switched on by default? If not, please can any one point me in the correct direction?
