So I bought a Fotasy MD-C adapter to mount a 50mm F1.7 Minolta lens to the HQ cam. When this lens is attached to my Sony NEX-5n APS-C camera it is fine. But mounted on HQ cam the photo it takes is purple. The blue ring 16mm C-mount lens looks fine/not purple.
I have a couple other C-mount lenses that have this purple tint like the Arducam 8-50mm. I'm wondering do I need to buy some kind of filter or do I have to correct it eg. edit the photo. Not all photos look purple though like I have a Sonew 5mm that looks nice, photos actually have this pleasant golden yellow look.

Maybe I just need a sun shade? The photo with the blue playground ride things looks a lot better, less purple.
No it's not the shade since my Nex-5n photos were taken without a shade no purple tint.
