Hi Forum,
I run my Pi 3b for many years on buster with an external USB drive using a Y cable. This worked well, but now with the removal of buster I upgraded to bookworm and the Pi hangs when writing large data to the USB. I use an original Raspberry Pi power adapter.
My syslog file has the below entries when it seems to happen. At 3:30am a normal FW rule log and then some garbage and the next log is a reboot at the "wrong" time of 3:17am.
Is there a known issue with bookworm or is bookworm "just" faster in writing overloading the USB power demands ?
My dmesg output
Thank you
Markus
