Networking and servers • which Pi to use in which role ?

I am rebuilding my home wired network, and plan to have two Pi at the router, one running IPCop, and the other PiHole.

I have two machines, one a very early Pi B, and the other a more recent 4+, and I was thinking that IPCop probably needs more computing power than PiHole, and so I should use the 4+ for IPCsp, and the B for PiHole.

Does this seem reasonable ?
