Beginners • Removing unwanted software

Hello,

I have been using Raspberry pi OS light for a few years now on Rpi 4b. Recently I am trying to get some confidence with the Raspberry Desktop OS and I have run in to a couple of beginner questions which I will post separately.

When I flashed the image there was no pre installed e mail client (Evolution), so I therefore decided to give K Mail a try. Long story short, I have given up with that and settled on Web-mail for now. At the time of the install many other things appeared in the start menu related to KDE. I decided to uninstall K Mail using the GUI; because I want to keep the system clean and light, I only have 2Gb RAM. Unfortunately many of the unwanted stuff remains as follows.

Preferences> KDE connect settings, KDE system settings.
Internet> KDE connect, KDE connect indicator, KDE connect SMS.

Can anyone help with how to remove all the unwanted stuff, perhaps a purge in the terminal? Just need a bit of help with that. Many thanks.
