I’m just getting started with a Raspberry Pi 4 Model B, and I’d like to build a small beginner-friendly project that involves reading basic sensor data (temperature, humidity, simple motion detection, etc.).
1. Which sensors are the easiest to use with a Raspberry Pi 4?
I have already purchased the DS18B20 and will receive it in a few days. This is the DS18B20 datasheet, which provides a clear overview, but I'm not entirely sure if it's still the best choice for beginners.![:D]( "Very Happy")
2. Do I need additional boards (ADC, level shifters, etc.)?
Some sensors are digital, some are analog, and I’m a bit confused about which ones work directly with GPIO and which don’t.
3. Is Python still the most common way to read sensor data on the Pi?
