Raspberry Pi OS • Overclock limit on the Pi 5

I've got the Pi 5 16GB and I want to overclock it, I checked the internet most people can do 3Ghz with active cooling, and I am using the Argon OLED case with fan so I gave it a try. I found I can only get to 2.7Ghz max, little more than that will halt randomly even at 2.75Ghz and the OLED shows 50'C only. First I thought my board was not original or not the UK version as I purchased from china, but it does show made in the UK on the silk screen, so what could be the problem, here is what I added to the config.txt.

arm_freq=2700
gpu_freq=1000

I am not greedy anything little lower than 3Ghz will be fine, any comment thanks !
