I'm attempting to replace a usb c cable that runs between a guitar amplifier and a foot pedal controller.
Currently the foot pedal from xsonic replaces the need for a PC to control the amp settings buried in the device that are not accessible on the main panel.
The amp is a Boss Katana Gen 3 and the pedal is a sonic: airstep ex

My thought was to utilize a USBIP protocol with two raspberry pi zero W's
Make the pedal pi zero the host device
make the amp pi zero the client device
use the USBIP protocol to replace the usb C cable that runs between the two devices.
Would this proposal work?
Is the rasp pi zero W the right device to accomplish this?
