First let me say that I'm new to Raspberry PIs hence being in the Beginners section
The first project I want to undertake (firewall) will require several items which I've identified as:
Raspberry Pi 5 with 16Gb RAM
Gigabit Ethernet + 3x USB 3.2 PCIe HAT+ for Raspberry Pi 5
SanDisk MicroSD Card (Class 10 A1) 32Gb
An appropriate case for the above
A mini HDMI to VGA cable including adapter
A Raspberry Pi 27W USB-C Power Supply
I have 2 questions:
1. What case would you recommend that would be suitable for my project
2. Will the 27W PSU be suitable or should I use the 45W PSU
There is unlikely to be a massive throughput of data so I don't anticipate any over-heating problems but please correct me if I'm wrong. I know this is going to be a steep learning curve initially.
I do appreciate that I may have 'over-engineered' the components but sooner do that than get it wrong. All and every comment will be much appreciated.
Thank you for your help
