I am having trouble setting up my SmartiPi Touch 2 screen. I have a dockerized application with a webinterface running on kiosk mode in a chromium browser window. When my Raspberry Pi 4b enters the screensaver and I wake it up again, the screen fades into complete white in about 3 seconds and after another 10 seconds or so, a light gray square appears in the middle of the screen. This happens immediately after the screen saver kicks in.
If I just leave it be without the kiosk mode for a while (about 10 minutes or more), I have a 50/50 chance of the above happening. The Raspi itself is still running as I can for example reboot it using SSH but it does not respond to any keystrokes from a keyboard or touch input. After rebooting, the issues is gone.
Using dmesg via SSH, I get the following output:
I already checked the cables, tried it with other SmartiPi Touch 2 screens and did a fresh installation of everything but nothing seems to work. Also searching the web for the above errors or queries like "smartipi whitescreen" do not help in resolving the issue. I also tried finding the SmartiPi drivers to reinstall them but with no success.
