Troubleshooting • Issues with USB 3.0 vs 2.0 Raspi 4B

This is occurring on a stock image of rasbian that is updated to the latest firmware/image. Not only are boot times absurd over gen 3, the OS will hang at times or so will the SSH shell.

The hardware is a raspi 4B using a USB 3.2 gen 1 Kingston DT 128gb stick to boot from. I have the stock 3A charger and also a AC 65w USB charger for laptops with OEM cables. Checking throttling does not show any flags when using the 65W charger. The stock charger sometimes will trigger undervolting but I have yet to see it happen since switching.

What I have noticed so far is that USB 3.0 ports are delivering 4-5 minute boot duration. USB 2.0 is doing about 1.5-2 minutes. That seems incredibly inverted for what should be occurring. When testing there is nothing else plugged in. There is an arduino to be used but thats been taken out for the time being.

Here is the systemd blame from the 3.0 boot/port, oddly it is a bit better this time around after the last firmware update (I'm pretty sure there was two updates done, or the first I guess never completed)
