Hi folks, I'm new to raspi and I keep encountering this issue: the screen shows up slanted and wraps around when booting as console. It picks the right settings for the projector when I boot to the GUI (but not if I startx from console).
I edited boot/firmware/cmdline.txt and added the following lines. HDMI-2 is how it shows up on Screen Configuration and this resolution works in the GUI:Still boots up in 480p on the console.
My ignorant guess is there's a service in the GUI that sets the proper resolution for the projector, but not on the console.
Any clues on how to fix this?
