Hi guys. I'm new here and pretty new to using Pi, so apologies in advance. I have this little hardware project where I'd like to be able to run Doom on a display no larger than 2". I also need a small version of Pi for it, so I bought Pi Zero 2 W together with a 2" 240x320 - Waveshare 17344 display that connects over SPI. Now, I have 32-bit PI bookworm OS installed and running, SPI is enabled and the display is connected correctly, meaning I can display a demo image following the guide here: https://www.waveshare.com/wiki/2inch_LCD_Module
The thing I can't seem to figure out is how to make Doom run on the display. I have chocolate-doom installed, it starts but it never shows on the SPI display. I even tried mirroring HDMI > SPI but to no avail, besides resolution seems like an issue (I'd rather avoid cropping as much as possible).
How can I achieve my goal? Assume I'm very new to this, oh, and I'm also not sure I have the Doom WAD file installed.
