Beginners • Shutdown menu item no longer works after upgrade

I just upgraded my Bookwormed Pi4s (two of them) and the SHUTDOWN menu botton no longer does anything (it was workimhg foe before)

I have WayLand instaled if that's significant

Any suggestions??
