I would like to be able to run a BSD (likely either FreeBSD or OpenBSD) on my Raspberry Pi 5. This would be for general desktop use.
However, last time I tried to run BSD on this machine, all three of the main distributions were unsuitable:

However, last time I tried to run BSD on this machine, all three of the main distributions were unsuitable:
- FreeBSD - I don't remember exactly, but I would hazard a guess at a boot or graphics failure.
OpenBSD - Keyboard didn't work when booting install76.img or install76.iso (correct physical medium used in both cases)
NetBSD - Unstable, and the fan was constantly on full blast
