Hello all,
I need help confirming whether my Raspberry Pi 5 is faulty.
I've done the following:
- Used official Raspberry Pi OS (64-bit desktop, May 2025 release)
- Flashed using Raspberry Pi Imager with advanced settings (Wi-Fi + SSH enabled)
- Reflashed the bootloader recovery image (rapid green LED confirmed)
- Tried 3 working SD cards (SanDisk and others)
- Used an official 5V 3A USB-C power supply
- Connected to HDMI0 (left port) on a VU TV – no signal at all
- Fan never spins during any boot
- Green LED blinks rapidly or loops, but never boots to desktop or shows up on the network
At this point, I suspect board-level failure (GPU or SD controller), as I’ve eliminated all external issues.
I bought it 4 months ago locally from Lamington Road (Mumbai), so no return option.
Any last suggestions or confirmation that this Pi is dead would be appreciated.
Thanks
