Troubleshooting • Vertical lines using MLX90640 on Pi 5

I have connected a MLX90640 to a Pi 5 and using this library https://github.com/tomshaffner/PiThermalCam. This library is using opencv and a few other libs. I have ran this setup on a Pi 4 and had great results but on the Pi 5 I get strange vertical lines on the display. I2C connection are good. Cable length is only about 4 inches. The MLX90640 was purchased from sparkfun. I am not sure where to look to resolve this. Could be hardware related with the Pi 5 or maybe the code which might not be running properly on the Pi 5 due to some changes in the Pi 5 hardware that is different than the Pi 4. I'm not that good with python yet but do program in other languages so I learn fast. I did try adjusting the refresh rate from 2hz up to 32hz and I2C frequency also, neither had any effect. I don't know if the image I attached is going to show. Might have to click on the link. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1q5NZ8h ... drive_link
