General programming discussion • Program ESP32 in MicroPython on Raspberry Pi OS Lite (Bookworm)

Can I program with MicroPython and then flash an ESP32 with said program from a Raspberry Pi running Raspberry Pi OS (Bookworm) Lite? From what I've seen online Arduino IDE can be installed and used from a Pi running Lite, but on Arduino's site it says:

To load MicroPython scripts to your board, you need to use a code editor. There are two editors to choose from: Arduino Lab for MicroPython and the OpenMV

Does anyone know of a way to do this from a Pi running Lite?
