I keep getting access denied when putting in my password and username using Putty. I have tried the following:
1. When installing the OS from Raspberry Pi Imager, I changed the settings and set my own username and password
2. Reset the settings, install the OS again, and try the pi username and raspberry password
3. Made a userconf.txt file in the boot of the SD card, set my own username:hash-password, hashing the password on a website
4. made a userconf.txt file with the pi username and the hashed password I found on this forum (although it was a post from 2022)
All these didn't work. I've tried multiple times, but I am sure I spelled the password right each time. What can I do?
