I just got notice that there is a new boot_partition=N filter in the Firmware. Amazing!
If understanding correct this allows the following use-case with tryboot_a_b:
- Setup a filter for boot A and B
- Overwrite cmdline to a A and B version within the filter which uses the corresponding rootfs A and B
Thus resulting in identical bootA/B and rootA/B partitions and all switching logic fully embedded.
Question:
Is there any way to already get a alpha/beta firmware for CM4 with this filter? Or any rough ETA when this arrives for CM4?
