I have installed Debian Stretch and Raspberry Pi Desktop for PC and Mac, from the cover disc Mar 2018, on a Windows Vista Laptop. It all works fine, but I am not familiar with the Chromium Browser so downloaded Firefox-136.0.4.tar. but don't know how to install it, and I don't know anything about the Raspberry Pi, or Linux or .ISO files. My intention is to use the Raspberry Pi Desktop for my routine internet access, instead of Windows. My search keywords returned a reply which showed the following -
sudo apt update
sudo apt install firefox-esr
something tells me there's more to it than that, can anyone help?
