Troubleshooting • framebuffers and hotplug

I am using a Raspberry Pi 4B and 5. I am using hdmi_force_hotplug=1 and some like mode DMT for audio (but not group). I found some problematic things happening here:
  1. The framebuffer is only initialised on first connected display (even with hdmi_force_hotplug)
  2. The framebuffer does not use a hotplugged resolution when a display is pluged in for the first time
  3. The framebuffer does not use a hotplugged resolution on repetitive replugs
  4. The framebuffer does not get deallocated on unplug (minor)
  5. Also im curious if it is possible to maybe set a default framebuffer to use when no displays are plugged in, in a way that does not force that resolution on hotplugged displays.
I do not want some thing with groups or edids as they are requiring me to know the display in advance, wich i do not.
These are some real pain points for me as they even effect situation like just powering on the display after the raspberry pi.

If anyone knows anything about any of the listed points, any help and/or knowlegde is appreciated!
