Troubleshooting • Pi Zero 2 W, headless, can ping by ip but not by name

I have a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W that I'm trying to setup/use Octopi on. I used Raspberry Pi Imager to create boot micro SD's. (I made two, one with Octopi and the other with just the latest Pi OS). Attached you can see the settings I used. I also enabled SSH Services and set it to password authentication.

Powered it on, waited for the light to stop flashing, and checked with my router to see if it was there. Shows up as TY_WR. Opened a terminal on a windows machine and pinged the IP, no issues. Tried to ping by name, and get this:
C:\Users\Admin>ping rpizero
Ping request could not find host rpizero. Please check the name and try again.

I tried it both with and without the .local as part of the host name.

Powered the Pi down, swapped cards, followed the process outlined above, same result.

What am I missing here folks? I'm kinda at a loss.
