I've got a V2.1 RPi camera a few year old, that is showing "junk" spots on images.
I know this is not the lens as the spots don't rotate with the lens when focused.
I unscrewed the lens and tried gently blowing it with compressed air (dust off).
Didn't help.
Next, I tried cleaning the sensor with 99% isopropanol and a very soft Q-tip, still didn't help.
I'm now assuming that there might be damaged sections on the sensor - not sure if that's something one can tell from the image.
I got a new V2.1 camera to replace it as they are not very expensive at all, but still wondering if my old camera's sensor has failed.
