Ok so I'm in the process of changing out my vans stereo and doing so makes a small 4.2" screen above it useless. So I had the idea of replacing the screen, which is monochrome, with an LCD and hopefully connecting it to a raspberry pi that can monitor my 12v system.
I'd like it to be able to monitor,
* charge coming in from my solar
* Battery charge state
* Amperage usage by appliances eg fridge, lights
Is this something that can be done?
