Hi, a newbie here in RPI...

I just bought a RPI5 from ThePiHut a few weeks ago. A day or two after delivered I started to set it up, created the account at connect.raspberrypi.com and was able to use Screen Sharing and Remote Shell to familiarize with it until yesterday. Been using it headless and via Wi-Fi for the time being, as I was waiting for a switch to get it wired.

The Linux machine I connect from is in inner network 192.168.128.0

TheRPI5 Wi-Fi connection is through a 128.168.15.0 LAN in a router A connected directly to the internet via fiber.

The switch arrived, so I made a wired connection as well from the RPI5 via the switch to a router B having 192.168.128.0 as a LAN, connected to router A as a gateway.

Now, when I login to connect.raspberrypi.com, all I get is the page with the tabs Overview Access tokens Key/value pairs. Under Overview I can the buttons Delete and Edit, following by the UUID and RPI5 serial number, nothom else. Screen Sharing and Remote Shell buttons no more...

Using Advanced IP Scanner on a VB Windoze 11 VM on a Linux machine I can see RPI5 with an IP set to 192.168.128.5, I can ping it from my Linux machine.

When I disconnect the ethernet cable from the RPI5 I'm back to business. I can see in the webpage the Connect Via button and able to make either connections (Screen/Remote). The Wi-Fi IP address is 192.168.15.13, in the outer LAN.

I wonder why I can't connect to it via the inner network.

My plan is to have RPI5 in the inner 192.168.128.0 LAN with a fixed (static) IP in order to run Pi-Hole.

Thank you for any heads up!

Cheers!
