General discussion • 2nd hand pi with na-ion batteries = ethical technology?

Hi I'm currently playing with / prototyping a project using a 2nd hand Pi 4 with 2 sodium ion batteries which I will Rig up soon with 2nd hand germanium diodes to regulate the power . I also bought a 2nd hand GSM module and 2nd hand 7 inch touchscreen , but can't get the touch functions working , though as a display it's great ! Will be up and running as soon as I get some fair tin solder . At the moment I'm using it with the power supply .
I'm just curious, as the Pi should be able to run with sodium ion batteries, unlike practically everything else , does a 2nd hand pi based system using sodium ion , represent the most ethical communication / computing / gadget system yet ?
Has anyone else worked on na-ion 2nd hand pi projects ? Is the idea something anyone would like to see promoted? ( not my implementation, but the principle )
