I am doing a project to calculate OEE for industrial machines in the company. I want to connect the RP to machines (for example, a FANCU robot arm) to receive two signals: active (1) and inactive (0). I need to calculate indicators such as availability, usage and OEE of the machine.
I'm a bit confused about how to connect the RP to the machines and what hardware is needed (relays, wires, etc.). Can anyone share experience or suggestions on how to do it?
