Model: Raspberry Pi 4B
Issue: After powering on with a Type-C adapter, the Raspberry Pi 4B boots up fine (yes, it boots up and enters the system). The red and green LEDs work normally, but after about 3 minutes, the display disappears, the red LED gradually dims, and the green LED goes off. Sometimes, both LEDs briefly go off when plugging in the Type-C adapter.
Power Supply: Not an official adapter, but supports the 5V-3A mode of PD adapters, which worked fine previously.
Storage Card Image: Official image. Tried changing the storage card, but it didn't fix the issue.
Odd Observation: I think it's related to the device temperature. When completely cooled down, the Raspberry Pi can run for 3 minutes before shutting down and the red LED turning off. When the issue occurs, if I immediately unplug and plug in the power, the Raspberry Pi will shut down within a few seconds. My Raspberry Pi already has a fan installed.
Request: What circuits and test points should I check? Thanks.![Uber Geek :ugeek:]()
